How do I start a workflow based on an email I have received in MS Outlook?

Starting a new workflow based on an Email

You have just received an email and need to start a request on Autopilot.

  • Click on Initiate
  • Click on 'A new workflow Request

Select a Process to Start

  • From the list of processes that you have access to on Autopilot, select the process that you want to Initiate by clicking on the Process Name.

Based on the process you've selected above, fill in the required form fields that appears on the screen.

Enter the participants on the workflow respectively and Click on Create the request on the bottom right corner of the screen to create the process on Autopilot.

Email Attachments

Email Attachments

Each request created will allow you attach the following:

  • The original email i.e. the email for which you creating the request.
  • Any attachments that was received with the email
  • Any images attached on the body of the email.

To attach any file, simply click on the file name displayed. The attachment will automatically get attached to the workflow.
